Astrology
Astrology has been defined as the study and meditation of the cosmic energies of the universe; specifically the planets and their energies, on humanity as it relates to life on the planet earth. There is a great deal of debate over the scientology of astrology and its accuracy. I happen to think that an astrological chart represents the psychological DNA of an adult before they begin to grow or make changes in their lives. It is a key insight into what we came to this earth to overcome, learn and grow from if you believe in reincarnation and the process of evolution. In stating this it is important that a chart represents how the individual sees themselves, not how we see them. An astrological chart aka psychological DNA shows how the stars and the planets affect each house which represents a specific part of our life and reality system. Let's say for instance you want to talk about the 4th house. That house is usually referred to as the house of your home. The foundation you build. The planet within that house and the sign that is in the house shows how you as a person will react to the energies of each. What you will place value in, how you will react to certain circumstances, do you have challenges in this house, is your ego overbearing or are you living in nativity about your true life in the 4 corners of your foundation to life?
The system of astrology seems to be handed down throughout the ages being taught in certain traditions and under different systems scientifically and in many cultures. The reading of the celestial bodies was an important factor back in the earlier days of the earth. There were no news forecasts that could tell you the weather patterns for the next few months, and there was no great telegraph or telephones to communicate information from place to place in an instant. There were language barriers, cultural barriers, environmental barriers and most of what was handed down about astrology was transferred either by family patriarchs or matriarchs or through certain cultures and their teachings or their religious ideology.
Astrology can be found throughout the world in Japan, India, China, Australia, the United States and other foreign countries and cultures. Each system is taught in a different fashion as mass-communication becomes more stable and likely in our world through means such as the internet.
Some religions cast a chart for two people before they decide to marry. Some cast a chart for each child when they are born. Sometimes it is a religious thing and sometimes it is simply a cultural theme.
In spite of the world wide influence of astrology I believe that some things need to be addressed in regard to this tool of expression. I fully believe that each astrologer needs their own set of guidelines to follow and their own ethical standards to follow. The do's and don’ts s of the trade.
I believe that astrology can be a good tool in the use of assisting others with problems they are having in their day to day lives or in resolving psychological issues they might be encountering. A good astrologer can give each person a positive way out of any negative aspect and give them hope in regard to their life and situation. It is important that each astrologer keep an oath of silence when it comes to a chart because confidentiality gives this craft credibility. To me this is a sacred thing.
Many classes are taught on astrology and I find them to be enlightening and useful in understanding myself and others. As Christ said, in order to understand the ways of the world and do the things that I have done, you must first understand yourself. To me it is a message letting us all know that we have intuitive abilities we can use to make life on earth much more productive and happy as we all seek to be happy. We are here to learn from our mistakes so astrology as a tool can teach us what our mistakes are and how to remedy them. In so doing we are developing our own clairvoyance and insight. Through astrology we can learn about the laws of the universe and how to raise our level of consciousness and evolve into a more enlightened human being.
